Global Communication
Enterprise communication requirements are evolving beyond traditional
telephone, fax or e-mail to include a comprehensive messaging system
that integrates the groupware/workflow applications and tight coupling
with the 'browsing' model of corporate intranets. The Internet also
allows users access to information across networks and data stores.
When these issues are being addressed, the communication infrastructure
must also be extended beyond the enterprise to business partners, customers
and suppliers, in order to provide a significant return on investment
in information technologies.
